So I own multiple different bags from Eberlestock, all for different setups/scenarios but this one paired with the emod and arc system have given me an all in 1. While my other bags are still outfitted, this one has taken the place as my go to all around Hunt/Ruck/Range/etc bag. Plenty of space and pocket organization allows you to build this bag for whatever your aiming for. It also pairs great with my RR Valkarian and Crye plate carriers. Hold weight well without it bouncing around

Ive been holding of on buying a ruck from Eberlestock for too long. This one came out and I knew it was time. It definitely wasnt a mistake. This ruck is really well thought out. And I love that it is part of the EMOD modularity. Used it this past weekend for drill and it was incredibley comfortable. Not only does it zip into the frame, but there are tabs that work with the PALS on the frame and removes any slack. And im sure the PALS tabs can be undone to fit a scabbard. Well done guys. This thing is solid!

I have used multiple rucks in my career. I have used the Tactical tailor Malice, the China made Alice, Elberstock Skycrane, the USMC ILBE, Ordinance Tactical custom made, and Mystery ranch Mountain Ruck. I like some more than others but this is the most refined pack, easiest to use and most efficient ruck I have ever used. I have spent way too much money on gear but this is by far the best. This system is well thought out and real. Elberstock is leading the competition in their innovation.

BOTTOM LINE. By this ruck, skip all the rest. The modular system actually works.

Wow, let me start by saying that I’ve done a significant amount of miles inside and outside of the uniform with framed rucksacks. I have never been able to set up a ruck that was truly comfortable, there always some kind of compromise had to be made. This system though? Incredible, as soon as I had the full system, I packed and prepped a 30k trek through the Southern Arizona Canyons, this pack disappeared on my back with 45 lbs wet weight. My back feels great next day, my legs are healthy and I have no blisters, no sores, no complaints! The price tag is steep, this is not cheap my any means. But the quality of this rucksack is light years beyond anything I’ve tested before, a perfect blend of classic and modern elements in a robust system that just makes sense.

If you’re hesitating on whether to invest in the mission ruck, let this be your sign to just order one. Thank me later.

I am glad I got this one and not Mission Assault Pack. The reason is the larger size, and I think it gives you more options. I have it added with ARC to carry my semi-heavy .338, so I can reach out and touch someone or something. The pack is nicely built. I mean, you guys are the best out there. You pay for it, but when it comes to gear, always get the best. I really like how the bottom is divided to carry sleepwear or whatever you want.

First off, I love this ruck. It’s way more comfortable and durable than the MOLLE 4K or 2K, and it lets me pack a lot more than my 4K ever could for missions, FTXs, or 3-day events. I won’t knock the 2K too much, though, I do like how the top can expand or collapse depending on your needs, so you can run it for anything from a 3-day mission to a week-long setup and STILL have space to spare for whatever I need, currently max weight I've ran the ruck at is 75ibs, all I've needed for now.

It’s also really easy to figure out and use. Adding sustainment pouches gives you even more space, which is a big plus. And having a dedicated bottom compartment for the MSS is awesome as hell, it saves me from digging through the entire ruck like I had to with the 4K, especially when the zippers were obstructed or broken on the bottom.

That said, there are a couple of issues. The frame tends to hang a bit low at first if the waist belt isn’t adjusted properly, it can sit below the belt on the EMOD frame and rub against my tailbone. I’m planning to adjust and test that more. I’ve also noticed some rubbing and hot spots on my mid-back from the frame, especially the OCP fabric section. If I’m just wearing a shirt, it can get pretty uncomfortable, so I’ve had to wear a thicker layer like a hoodie or jacket to not have that happen, which, I understand, it's a mission ruck.

Overall though, I’m really glad Eberlestock released this ruck, especially since it dropped just a few days before I bought it. I’m definitely happier with it.

Edit: Adding a secondary review as I've put way more miles on the product. Most recently with a Norwegian Ruck and wow, since buying, I have added more weight up to 80ibs for training and SFRE Prep and fixed a few issues by making the belt even tighter, like you would for a MOLLE 4K Adjustment ect, so it doesn't let the bar smash against my tailbone. After the Norwegian Ruck March and after about 20 miles, all including walking there, the ruck than back, it felt amazing, I felt like I had NO weight on my back and flew through it easy.

Great bag, extremely well made, tons of room for all the stuff I need! Exited to get the frame in and test it all out!
