In honor of this long-standing relationship, The Foundation Pack is purpose-built for backcountry hunters who demand comfort, stability, and efficient load hauling in a streamlined design. Perfect for day hunts, it offers 2500 cubic inches of storage with quick access to essential gear. When it’s time to pack out, the frame-mounted load panel secures quarters and heavy loads between the pack and the frame, keeping weight close to your back for maximum stability.

Blending modern Eberlestock innovation with legendary durability, the Foundation Pack is constructed utilizing the same frame as our Brute Series and Modframe™. Its Contoured Shoulder Harness, Cradle Hip Belt, padded lumbar support, and raised load lifters will keep the pack securely positioned on your torso when navigating the uneven terrain where elk call home. Drawing inspiration from the Bandit Pack, the exterior of the pack also features a load panel to quickly stow shed antlers, bows, jackets, waders, and other gear. Pair with the Pack Lid to maximize storage capability and securely anchor bulky loads.

In collaboration with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the Foundation Pack carries forward Eberlestock’s long-standing commitment to conservation. A portion of every sale goes directly to RMEF to support their mission to “ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat, and our hunting heritage.” To date, Eberlestock has donated more than $750,000 to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation through the sale of RMEF branded packs. How do I fit my pack?

A properly fitted pack rides better and hauls heavier loads more comfortably. Adjust your torso length, hip belt, and shoulder straps for the best fit.

How do I care for and maintain my gear?

Spot clean with cold water and mild soap. Avoid bleach, harsh detergents, and solvents. Never machine wash or tumble dry. Air dry fully before storing.

Great Sling Messenger Bag for EDC

I replaced a much more expensive Briggs & Riley messenger bag with the Fade Sling, and I honestly prefer it. It has a clean, modern design, feels well-made, and offers just the right amount of space and organization for everything I carry day-to-day.

It is comfortable, lightweight, and works equally well for business, travel, or casual use. The quality is excellent for the price, and I never feel like I am giving anything up compared with the more expensive bag.

So far, I am loving everything I buy from Eberlestock. The Fade Sling is another great product and an easy recommendation. Only wish I purchased it before the Briggs&Reilly.
