After taking a few dozen miles with this pack, my inital review is this thing is a beast. Youll find the pockets a tad overwhelming at first so dont feel the need to fill everyone of those bad boys but theyre there as you need them. The weight carrying ability is great, cant even tell you have 65 pounds on you till your muscles start burning going up mtns. Love this and am very happy i went this route!
Amazing quality, love the ergonomics, great piece of equipment. Definitely my new ruck.
I love it. This thing is huge. I have the Gunslinger ii, but it is too small to carry all the gear I need for a multi-week adventure; not so with this beast. This bag holds everything I need with room to spare. Also, it is one of the very few packs available from Eberlestock that still has regular size Molly, which is very important to me. I absolutely detest the micro Molly on my Gunslinger. If you need an expedition size pack, this is the one.
I purchased this pack for a few reasons. I’m trying to get into better shape by rucking, I’d like to get into back packing, and I want to train up for the Expert Soldier Badge. This pack is far and away better than anything the Army has ever issued me. The harness system, when adjusted properly, holds the pack in just the right place on my back without a lot of movement. It’s distributes weight just right. It is very well made and quite durable. This is a very big pack. I got the XL because I anticipate needing the space for future activities, but the smaller Terminator pack should suit most folks just fine if they don’t anticipate needing to carry a lot.
I use the ruck for 12 miles and recce and couldn't find an issue with it. However if you don't have a need for shoving 80 plus lbs of crap in your ruck just go with the regular size terminator. The included fanny pack is huge and I use it instead of an assault pack alot of the time
Only Brand I'll Buy!! great quality, well thought out with large capacity. It's not my first Eberlestock pack and not my last!! Two thumbs up. Very pleased with my purchase.
I originally bought an REI backpack but it barely held anything and a stray brach or stick would tear the cheap material it was made out of. The Terminator XL, is sooo rugged, tough, and has so much carry capacity and is more comfortable. Would definitely purchase again, wish it came in the gray color or the olive drab though.
I have been waiting over 2 years to purchase this pack, finally on sale in my price range and it was worth the wait. It's a great pack and worth the price. The quality is unmatched in the industry.
Military quality with a professional look. This is by far the best pack I have owned. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Its well designed but I feel like there could be something else done with this platform.. Like giving more organizing space
