Like an ammunition Bandolier, the Bando Bag is a lightweight and convenient way to transport your EDC items. A full-zip back pocket on the Bando measures 5.25”H x 9.25”W x 3”D, large enough to secure most sub-compact and compact sidearms like the Glock-19 and those similar in size. The main compartment features an interior mesh zippered pocket, and two slip pockets for additional organization. A small zippered front pocket is perfect for keys, cords, or other small items. The waist belt length is adjustable from 31.5” - 44”.

The full-zip back pocket on the Bando XL measures 6”H x 10.75”W x 3”D, large enough to secure most full frame sidearms and smaller.

Both the Bando and Bando XL include an integrated sleeve to conveniently carry a tourniquet below the top flap of the main compartment.

Mixed bag

I have seen several YouTube vids touting this bag, and one of the features that appealed to me was the elastic band folks used to stow a tourniquet.

My primary interest in a waist pouch (or sling bag) is to carry more first aid stuff than I carry in my LiveTheCreed wallet when I'm willing to have off-body EDC stuff, so having ready access to a TQ is a thing.

I have a couple of tourniquets, representing a couple of brands that are TCCC approved. Neither was easy to get into the elastic band. I suppose that, if I'm in an emergency situation, I can pull a TQ out of that spot easily enough (adrenaline making me "stronger" and all that), but I'm less than impressed.

Many of the YouTube content providers also addressed that this bag is good--or at least okay--for off-body carry of a firearm. I would want a better holster option to even try keeping a handgun in the allotted space.

Maybe I can make this work with some more fiddling...

Comfortable and Functional

My husband gifted me this, and I love it! It is really spacious with plenty of interior pockets. I wear it as a crossbody for ease of draw.

great pack but with a few flaws

ive enjoyed the fanny pack the ability to hold my firearm and daily items. the only 2 issues i found was 1st the buckles they are incredibly large and having 2 of them doesn't make much sense im assuming its for stability or ability to access on both sides but im not a big guy 32 waist 5'9 170lbs and that buckles sits square in my back so if you were a 30-36~ that buckle will not feel good in your back and like most people we still have to drive most places.
the 2nd issue is the compartment size for the firearms optics and the 365macro/hellcatpro/48x etc are all getting closer to that g19 size and once an optic is mounted its a really tight fit adding some elastic or a small increase in the rear compart size to accommodate for optics going up to the larger pack is a bit more conspicuous and large for daily use. i still enjoy it and it beats every other cc compatible waist pack with the extra compartment space and greater support makes it great choice

Came up short

Bag is great. Nice pocket organization and layout. However, the strap is far too short in my opinion. I should have paid more attention to the stated length.

It can really hold things. For a small bag, it is worth having. I will repurchase it.
