Awesome hip belt! The cushioning, storage and adjustability are outstanding!!

So, per the description ***COMPATIBLE WITH SWITCHBLADE, LITTLE TRICK, BANDIT, LITTLE BROTHER, JACKNIFE, AND ANY OTHER SMALLER EDC PACK WITH A BELT TUNNEL.
The only problem is many of those packs come in Gray. But no matter who I spoke to, the don't offer the belt in gray. So I have a gray jacknife with a black belt. I don't know why when there are other packs that come in gray and have hip belts that are included they can't just sell me one of those belts as a separate item. Very annoying.

This is a very well made item for the money. If you need to add a hip belt this one does the trick. I added it to the Bandit pack, as I found when that pack was loaded with a hydro bag and other day hike essentials that the weight on my shoulders by the end of the day was noticeable - and this belt solved that issue.

However, I give it 4 stars because it seems like its a bit much for the Bandit pack - a slimmer version would most likely work just as well for the small Bandit but be less intrusive when not wearing the pack. The small footprint of the Bandit was one of the reasons I bought that pack, so now this belt sort of takes it in the opposite direction. I'll just remove the belt for most uses (which it's designed to easily remove).

Overall a good addition, but not the absolute perfect addition to the Bandit.

I purchased the original Standard Hip Belt in 2013 (still have it and in new condition.) I recently bought a Bandit backpack and was going to use the original hip belt with the Bandit until I stumbled upon this new version of the Standard Hip Belt, and decided to buy the new version to use with the Bandit because the material is updated as on the Bandit with the same laser-cut PALS webbings. Just being OCD about matching things up...

On the new, updated Standard Hip Belt, the adjustment straps now adjust inward compared to adjusting outward on the original Standard Hip Belt; adjusting inward is much better. For the foam padding, the new version looks and feels thicker; it fits and feels better than the original. I'm glad I found the new updated version.

I have a bad back and a messed up shoulder. This belt does a great job of taking the weight off my shoulders. I filled my pack with gear and I basically forget I was wearing a pack. Very cushy on my hips and no sore spots. I like the molle so I can add whatever pouches I want.

Belt works perfectly, just needs a bit of natural curve

Shipping was fast and of course quality was incredible, as expected from Eberlestock. I wanted to add a waist strap for my switchblade. I wish I had your bags while I was in the Marines. Only the cool kids in MARSOC and such could rock them…
