Pack Mounted Shooting Rest
I shoot long-range, precision rifle and normally use an Accu-tac bipod. But when hunting out in the field I want to cut as much weight as possible. Since I carry a backpack (I just bought the FAC track) I opted for the pack mounted shooting rest. Tried it out the other day and it functioned very well for me (the FAC track has MOLLE all over the place, so getting the right height/placement was easy). Good job Eberlestock.
I bought this and a shooting bag and I am pretty happy with the purchase. The quality is quite high with good stitching. I used it for a long range shooting course with Marine Sniper Clay Martin. The class and the equipment were timely and very high quality. Semper Fi!
As with all the Eberlestock products I own, the pack mounted shooting rest I’m sure will never wear out.
Like many of their products, it exceeds. Worth every penny. Mounted it to my BANG-BANG on the left facing side and love the stability. I only could clip one pair of clips in this way, however an added benefit is the ease of opening that storage compartment and fast access to the tools I store in it. With the weight of the bag, no more readjusting the rifle when using the bench.
This works well and will be very useful on an upcoming elk hunt. Will eliminate any weapon shifting and provides needed stability for long range shooting!
