The Long Padded Hip Belt is an extended length hip belt for replacement of the Standard Hip Belt that comes with most packs. The Long Padded Hip Belt is recommended for individuals with a waist size larger than 42". All Eberlestock hip belts can be removed and replaced using our simple hook & loop system, taking just seconds to do.
The Long Padded Hip Belt features additional padding alongside it's additional length. Individuals with a waist size below 42", needing additional padding, should refer to the Padded Hip Belt. Both of these upgrade options feature padding approximately double that of the Standard Hip Belt.
The Long Padded Hip Belt features three horizontal rows of MOLLE webbing for attaching accessories, a 50mm DuraFlex HD buckle, as well as inward or outward pull adjustment.

Really like this padded belt. It fits and it is rock solid. I think the price was very fair as well.

What I hoped it was
I haven't had a chance to use it much, just installed and fitted it on my mainframe and weight tested it with over 50lb. Felt way more comfortable than the normal hip belt and actually had enough extra strap to secure. Good stuff, always happy with eberlestock.

Glad i bought this
I am glad I bought this I new I'd need the large padded hip belt for sure but I'm really glad I got this also because the little bit I've gotten to use it it's saved my shoulders so much discomfort

Nice addition
Really nice addition for a bigger guy. I wear a 44” waist and this really helps hold the load on my horse hips. If you are interested in more comfort for the longer days I definitely recommend.

I have wider hips and this is the only belt that I have ever found that fits right. As always with Eberlestock the quality is outstanding.

Long waited Improvement
I have an Eberlestock X1 backpack I have had for many years. Reason being I just love the pack. Only drawback has been the standard hip belt. When I came across the upgrade Long Padded Hip Belt and put it on my X1 made my backpack even better than before. I wish I would have found it much sooner. I highly recommend upgrading to the Long belt if the standard just isn't quite big enough.
