Best designed gear on the market if you need a truly modular system, I’m not in the service or anything, but I love to hunt, and in this day and age you should be prepared for the uncertainty of world events and be ready for whatever comes wether it be a natural disaster or a brake down of law in order, you are ultimately responsible for your own family, man up, gear up, get training!
Exactly what I was looking for. Well made products and great people to deal with.
While it doesn’t integrate too seamlessly with the Halftrack, it’s a nice possibles bag and it will stay put. It has good storage for survival gear and it’s all accessible when installed as a lid.
The belt is solid and stays out of the way when not needed. It’s got PALS and integrated straps that configure in different ways to allow for scouting or E&E use.
Like anything from Eberlestock the Multilid is well constructed. However, it does not attach to my Vapor pack or F1 frame in a remotely useful manner. It does attach to my Gunslinger, but it makes the Gunslinger’s built in lid pockets useless and cumbersome to access. This product seems to be intended as a lid for “lidless” packs, but attachment requires the MOLLE base that I’ve only seen on packs with lids.
I purchased this a while ago, and unlike every other Eberlestock product I own, this item has yet to see any field time and has found itself relegated to my closet. If you have a pack with a MOLLE panel for a lid that doesn’t already have storage capability, the Multilid would be a fantastic purchase. Otherwise, pass.
It’s just what I needed to put with my mainframe and the vapor pack. Attached very easy and securely. Lots of
Extra room and it makes it easier to get to items that I don’t want to open the vapor pack for. Definitely recommended.
Jazzed about having a MultiLid, which is currently strapped to the top of my F7 Kite pack. It adds another level of modularity to my set up, since it can also be used as a stand-alone sling or fanny pack and can hold a water reservoir. The MultiLid will be great to use for holding essentials on short trips away from camp, when it's not being used as the "brain" on the Kite. It will also be handy on bike rides/day trips when a full-size pack would be overkill. Product quality is, as usual, excellent. Would definitely buy again!
It does everything you want it to do, gives you more space. But what would make the product perfect is if in the storage compartment they were to add some type is space dividers, Velcro attachments, retention loops, just like Spiritus systems GP pouches have. The ability to organize you gear and keep it neat is a must.
Eberlestock is kicking ass in R and D. This pouch is a great idea to go on top of my F1 mainframe. My F1 is loaded with 4 Batwings.
Very versatile, great way to add storage to a smaller pack, or use it alone.
