The Padded Shoulder Harness can be used to replace the standard harness on most Eberlestock packs. Choose it if you prefer a little bit more plush padding vs. the more minimalist padding in our standard harness.

Padded Shoulder Harness

Shoulder harness and belt padding

The extra padding on the shoulder harness and belt are definitely a game changer for a heavy load. The comfort level increased greatly with these. However I feel these should be an upgrade option when purchasing the mainframe
. Why not start a "build your pack" option where you dont have to buy the less padded components to later replace them with the more padded belt & shoulder harness? Let it be an option from the start !

It's a notable improvement over the stock option...especially when transporting heavy loads like during a pack out.

A must have for any pack!

Very comfy, slightly longer than the standard straps on my Jacknife but that’s almost preferable because I felt the stock straps were a little short.

Padded shoulder straps

A must have ! If you have bony shoulders or carry a heavy load . I use this to carry elk quarters and pack my kids on hikes and the padded straps are 100x better than the OG ones
