The Team Elk Pack is unlike any other backpack on the market. It has unique features like the patented rifle-back scabbard, a comfortable aluminum frame meant to carry heavy loads and a meat carrying system that allows the pack to be separated from the frame for packing out game from the backcountry. The pack includes a spacious floating lid, deep side pockets, and stretch-material pockets throughout the exterior of the pack. On the interior of the pack you will find stretch pockets and a hydration sleeve and hook.

The Team Elk pack was originally developed to provide backcountry elk hunters with the best and most innovative hunting pack available, and to simultaneously contribute funding to the most proactive and dedicated conservation organization on the planet, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. In the past 10 years, we have contributed and continue to contribute 10% of every sale of the Team Elk pack directly back to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, totaling a lifetime contribution of over $600,000.

The mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is to "Insure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage," which has made us proud partners of the RMEF for over 19 years!

Great pack. I’m still settling into it but so far it’s quiet, it’s got quality zippers, and has a lot of room without being overly bulky.

The frame and straps spread weight well making it particularly comfortable.

I would not forgo a rifle sling but that scabbard is great to transport over distance, even out the weight to prevent fatigue in my back, or just free up my hands in more challenging terrain.

Best hunting backpack ever!

Used this backpack on a black bear hunt in Northern California. Handled all of the gear needed plus gun with hydration pack. Would recommend rain cover.

Solid pack. Collects grass like no other though. Is a bit heavy but not back aching. Scabbard is kind of a pain to use depending on how you pack and your rifle. But solid pack should last me a long time.

Nicely refined

I owned a first generation Team Elk pack for many years. It carried elk quarters, whole deer and Antelope. I saw the second generation model and thought that’s going to make my life a little easier for pack outs. It will also allow me to carry more camping supplies so I can stay on the mountain longer. The fit feels better due to the load straps are inline with the shoulder straps. That simple geometry change makes the pack feel lighter. Thanks Eberlestock

Great pack

Just used this pack on an elk hunt. Was very comfortable and had great storage options for gear.
