The Team Elk Pack is unlike any other backpack on the market. It has unique features like the patented rifle-back scabbard, a comfortable aluminum frame meant to carry heavy loads and a meat carrying system that allows the pack to be separated from the frame for packing out game from the backcountry. The pack includes a spacious floating lid, deep side pockets, and stretch-material pockets throughout the exterior of the pack. On the interior of the pack you will find stretch pockets and a hydration sleeve and hook.

The Team Elk pack was originally developed to provide backcountry elk hunters with the best and most innovative hunting pack available, and to simultaneously contribute funding to the most proactive and dedicated conservation organization on the planet, The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. In the past 10 years, we have contributed and continue to contribute 10% of every sale of the Team Elk pack directly back to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, totaling a lifetime contribution of over $600,000.

I'm using it to practice getting ready for elk season here in Wyoming. I wear it out into the prairie hiking everyday with my gun in the scabbard plus all my other equipment for hunting and at this point it's the most comfortable pack I've ever used I put in over a hundred miles walking so far, and it's just a great pack?

Not worth the money!

The bag rides to low in my opinion I wish there was a way to fully load this bag without it feeling like your going to lose everything in it. When you do load the main bag all the way it doesn't ride up properly and sags. If you try to cinch the bottom you end up collapsing the bag causing you to lose space. It would be better if the way it attached was with 2 straps on top to lift the bag up and keep it in place. There should be load straps sewn to the side of the pack near the back so the load is able to be secured properly instead of relying on only 2 straps on each side to secure middle load and the actual pack.
When fully loaded the weight of the items shift awkwardly like pulling you backwards when under weight. The material is nice but the design of this bag makes it not secure and safe when packing out large game. I have used eberlestock bags overseas within my military career and the design of this bag didn't meet the expectation I had from using previous equipment from eberlestock.

I gave the pack five stars because it fits great, padding and construction of pack is awesome, and appears to be what I need. I have not field tested it, but will soon. If you want to send out another review in a month after I do some hunt prep/rucking, feel free to do so.
