Switchblade

I recently purchased the Switchblade pack for going to the range and hunting. The pack feels like I could easily carry 35 pounds in the pack while keeping my gear organized. My recommendations to improve this would be to include fitting instructions, buying options with the hip belt, and buying options with the water bladder. Then, everything wouldn’t need to be purchased piece meal. Information for the best way to install the hip belt would be great also.

I look forward to using this pack in the field. It looks rugged enough to last for a long time.

I just received the Switchblade Backpack. It's a great design and well-built. I'm looking forward to using it. My son has had one for a few years and loves it.

The Switchblade is an incredibly versatile bag, perfect for everything from rucking across hilltops to strolling through the streets of European towns while on vacation. Its spacious design and well-thought-out compartments make organizing gear effortless. As a videographer and photographer, I find this bag ideal for carrying everything I need. Hands down, the best bag I've used!

I purchased the black color. Perfect slick pack. Main use will be for biking to work while carrying essentials. Able to fit a large med kit I need for work, uniform, lunch, books and tablet with room for other small things. I also got the small rain fly, large and small general purpose pouches. The large fits inside the folding lid and is a very welcome addition to the set allowing easy access to items via opening the top compartment which allows the pouch to be accessed conveniently. The pack holds its shape when overpacked or packed with bulky awkward objects. If overpacking, the side and front zipper compartments will be limited to small compressible object. I’m able to fit the rain fly in one, but a raincoat didn’t fit in the other. The water bottle holders still fit a Nalgene when overpacked which is nice. I’ll also be using this for day hiking trips, which I would recommend adding a hip belt for. The straps are fine, and the back support is fantastic, among the best, however when overloaded you definitely want the hip belt. The black version has all the tactical features you’d want, but doesn’t scream veteran as loudly as the OD green or coyote.
