I purchased this bag for EDC. It works great for what I wanted, the right size, not to big, fits in the console of my Jeep, looks and is efficient.

I bought this bag for my wife to carry her S&W shield plus and some mom essentials too. She intended to wear it as a crossbody instead of at the waist. While it does work ok for this, it definitely is not meant for this way to carry as the bag pulls away from the body too far at the bottom when its fully packed. She likes the pockets and the amount of space it has in the pouches compared to smaller similar bags such as the Vertx every day fanny pack, but it just doesn't open smoothly when packed. She is using a kydex velcro back holster with it. She was hoping that the extra space in the front pouches meant she could forego a small diaper bag, however, the fit of the bag as a crossbody style just doesn't work. I will probably use this bag personally as a waist belt bag and it is great quality, however just not the right fit for her. If eberlestock made a bag similar to Vertx every day fanny pack construction (nylon straps attached straight to bag without extra triangle shaped material) but with the added pouches of this bag, it would be a great addition for women who want to carry as a crossbody and need slightly more room inside.
Again, this is a great bag and we are very pleased with the quality/features, just didn't work for her intentions.

The bag is light and seems well built. Unfortunately, and it was my fault that I didn’t notice the information on the item that the strap went only to a size 41, which was too short. Therefore, when I got the bag I either had to return it or opt for an extension strap that was sold for another $5.75 approx. with a discount. I opted for the strap even though the day I planned to return the bag, return shipping was offered for free. Just a caution to others for a heads up on the details. The size 41 strap seems short given other bags I’ve had and when accounting for heavier winter clothing etc. The extra strap matches and fits.
