The Foam Insert set for the Bang-Bang is a two-piece custom foam set designed to allow the secure storage of weapons and other sensitive items in the basement compartment of the Bang-Bang. The set comes with a .5" and a 1.25" piece to provide bottom cushion when inserts have been cut. The foam is solid, images shown of cut foam are only examples.
Recently purchased and used a couple times, the Bang Bang bag does it all. I'd been looking for a range bag big enough to carry everything in one place, finally got one! The size and ability to reconfigure the Bang Bang to fit my needs is initially why i made the purchase, and was not disappointed. Excellent build quality. Looking forward to years of use. I did buy the foam insert for the base but have yet to use it, as it currently holds staplers and targets. Great bag, great price(summer black friday sale), this bag is worth every penny.

Almost Great, Order Fulfillment Lacking
Nice design, good size. The only thing the bag is lacking would be a mesh backing or something that allows more breath ability. Bag gets pretty sweaty on long hikes in hot weather. Order fulfillment was horrible. Took 3 weeks for the bag to arrive. Eberlestock makes great products but they aren’t the quickest to get the products to your door in all of my previous purchases. Normally it’s worth the wait but this was excessive. Should have just ordered it off of Amazon.

Good quality foam that is cut to fit right. Was disappointed that it was missing the Eberlestock name and logo on the foam like on the website pic. I could have gotten this foam from any old hardware store.

It fits perfectly in the base and once it’s cut for things I want to protect( shot timer, Range finder) it will work perfectly.
