It is okay, not perfect.

I was quite shocked to see that for $200 it is made overseas. I thought all Eberlestock items were made in USA. The bag is handy and I've opted to keep it. It can hold several full size pistols plus magazines and ammo. I hope the carry handle on the top holds up over time to the weight.

Solidly built bag. I added some outer molle pouches for simple things like range cards and pens. Enough room for my gear.

Compression straps are nice but wish there was a way to store them when not in use.

Over time many of us collect an expanding inventory of "tools" and thus need additional range bag capacity...the Bang-Bang accommodates everything I want to take to the range and more and my early impression is that it is extremely well-constructed...time will tell, but am very pleased with this purchase thus far...

More Versatile Than "Just" a Range Bag

I actually have two of these. The first was for its intended purpose, but "upon further review" I realized it would make a great first-aid bag for people who wanted to build a kit for large families or small groups of other kinds. The second one is actually going to make it to the range! In fact, when I got this one I also ordered the Pack Mounted Shooting Rest which attaches to the front of the bag, meaning one can flip the bag on its side and the shooting rest is in perfect position for bench shooting. I've purchased 6 packs from this bunch, (Destroyer, Battleship, FAC TRAC pack, 2 Terminators - the big ones' & a Sky-Crane; and never had a second's trouble with any of them!

To the subject at hand, the Bang-Bang is sufficiently stout for the roughest treatment you'll give it with your guns in it. Plethora of pockets keep everything in place, and the solid bottom will last for years. It's amazing how innovative a company can be, when they get off their tails, and get out and USE the various products!!
