The Padded Hip Belt is best added to packs intended to regularly carry heavier than normal loads (45 lbs.+) for sustained periods. The Padded Hip Belt may also be a wise addition for those with little body fat to reduce abrasion discomfort on the hip bones. The Padded Belt is approximately double the width and thickness of the Standard Hip Belt.

Inward or outward pull tightening capability with locking DuraFlex HD buckles ensures proper fitment and carry. The Padded Hip Belt also features three horizontal rows of MOLLE webbing for mounting accessories like the Padded accessory pouch or the MultiPack.

Comfortable

Much more comfortable than the standard hip belt. Allows me to get the lumbar pad a little lower on my back while still getting a good hold around my hips. Do wish that it came in coyote brown.

I have nerve problems in my shoulder areas so I need a good stout but comfortable hip belt to keep my bags secured to me properly.

Very good design and quality

I using padded belt with my Halftrack, it is wery comfortable.
Also I can use this belt with another backpacks.

Hip belt

What a huge improvement on the little brother. I use this bag for everything because it’s awesome. Using the padded hip belt combined with the gossamer framer (you need the large for little brother) makes this such a comfortable pack for long rucks.
