Salmon River Pant
These pants are a combination of the rock climbing and hunting worlds. Flexible and breathable pants while sporting a really effective camouflage pattern.
I will start with sizing… they fit true to size. I’m 6’2 225 with a 34 waist%2C and I ordered 36 thinking they would run small like most tech pants%2C but they are big on me%2C even with a firearm in the waistband. Comfort%3F They are incredible%21 I wear them for work often and the double left pocket is great for EDC and separating items. I plan on buying more in other colors%21
Fit great. Going to wear on a moose hunt this fall.
Light weight, breathable, flexible, waterproof. What else do you want in a pair of pants?
Bought these right before the Iowa spring turkey season, they are the most comfortable pair of pants I’ve ever owned. The quality and durability are unmatched! They handled thick thorny under brush like a champ. I’m 6’0” and around 185 lbs and the 34R fit like a dream!
I just got back off a 2 day hike and these pants stood up for the challenge. Great quality and perfect function.
These pants are advertised as being durable hunting and outdoor active wear. As well as having this “Skye” camouflage that appears in the pictures to be mostly tan/brown and black. I was surprised to open the packaging to find that the “Skye” camo was not so tan/brown, but more green and almost identical to the “Mountain” camo of which i have one of their backpacks in. Not sure if this was a manufacturing error because it says Skye on the pants, yet I’m almost convinced it is the Mountain camo. Now for the durability i found right away that these pants do not seem all that durable. Upon putting some stress into the pockets which are extremely thin i could feel and hear seams start to come loose or rip. Which makes me question if the pants will hold up to walking thru brush and maneuvering rough terrain. This review does not affect my confidence in this company’s amazing backpacks and gear. However, unless the pants I received were actually a manufacturing error. I would advise Eberlestock to revisit the drawing board on the durability and maybe change the misleading pictures of the Skye camo that is not actually tan and brown, but very green like the mountain camo. Thank you.
Pants are great! Very comfortable, with good versatility (everyday and outdoor wear). Only complaint is sizing. Offering waist/length sizes vs small, medium, large would be nice.
Great pants! I do wish they were more tapered at the bottom, but other than that I have enjoyed them
