EARLY SEASON LAYERS:
Designed for a close-to-the-body feel with a four way stretch material that won’t hold you back.
With a water resistant, yet-extremely breathable membrane and 4-way stretch, mid weight layers provide excellent warmth-to-weight ratio to keep you comfortable without weighing you down.
Technical, versatile, lightweight, and built to last. Made of 4-way stretch polyester with a DWR finish, providing a close riding, athletic fit with a cut that gives unrestrained freedom of movement.
COLD WEATHER GEAR:
Featuring 80gm Primaloft insulation, packable into its inside-chest pocket, breathable, and touting a superior warmth-to-weight ratio, Eberlestock cold weather gear is built to perform.
Four-way stretch fabric with a 40K+ breathability rating and 20K+ waterproofing will keep you dry when it rains -- and will not cause it to rain condensation inside the jacket when you are climbing up a mountain.
Nice vest for spring, autumn or colder summer nights. Keeps wind and atleast mild rain out. Must have piece for up north!
Always want a review of something before you use it.
I like it. It is light weight.
A little noisy since it has waterproof layer non gore Tex. Hopefully will quiet up after a few launderings.
Kinda bright camo color.
Absolutely everything I hoped for!
Went turkey hunting last weekend in it finally. Temp was between mid 30's and mid 50's with a 25 to 30 mi an hour wind. Wore a light weight wind long sleeve wind shirt and the vest along with the Afterburner pants. This combo kept me comfortable all day in sun or shade, sitting in the wind or out of it. Was the perfect set up. I normally sweat a lot no matter what I wear but this set up kept me cool and dry. Was absolutely worth the investment.
Great vest for over a shirt or under a jacket for extra warmth. Stuffs into it’s pocket, so I keep it in the truck for when the temp changes unexpectedly.
I ordered the Diamond Peak Vest (Dry Earth love the color by the way) in "L" but should have ordered the "XL". I guess my mind wandered back a few years. In any event, Eberlestock fixed me up right away with the exchange.
As far as the vest goes, it's "A #1". Top notch construction with just enough warmth and wind/water resistance to keep you going. As a mid-layer, it adds substantially to keeping you warm without the bulk.
Quality construction, slim fit, and has a nice heat retaining collar. I got a solid color for town and camp wear and like the vest but wouldn’t consider it to be quiet enough for bowhunting whitetail.
This fits me perfect and is the weight I was looking for. Permaloft lining is the warmth I was looking for. I hunt in the cold weather of NNY, MT and NM.
The quality seems good but the sizing is off. I bought a Cache Peak jacket at the same time and neither fit. I definitely should have bought at least 1 size bigger.
