Never broke one before but this time a van door got slammed on the buckle. It was STILL usable though!

Found a nice used Eberlestock pack online but the buckle was pretty worn and scratched up. This did the trick, and if someday your buckle gets caught in the door when you shut it, it's an easy fix.

Fast easy and perfect fit. Shipping price was more the buckle but such is the world we live in.

Gotta have extras for the moment you inadvertently shut the car door on your buckle when the waistbelt springs towards the exit at the last second. It happens. As usual, Eberlestock quality even in the replacement buckles. Very satisfied.
