Went spring bear hunting and found myself crawling around in the brush and the snow. The bag kept my gun safe and secure and kept out debris and water. If you have an F1 mainframe I’d recommend getting one.

Decided on this instead of the 3.5 lbs weapon scabbard. Ths weapon scabbard is padded Morse. This isn't, but it weighs less than half as much as the weapon scabbard & placed between the F1 mainframe and vapor 5000 with the crown protector, it'll protect it your rifle and keep it dry. It fits my 20" AR10 with a gen2 viper pst, sunshade and bipod. The quality is what you'd expect from eberlestock.
Ill be putting it all to use this summer and fall.

What a great product for keeping a gun dry in bad weather it’s awesome. I got lucky and waited it out and got them sale at almost half the price. So glad !! a great product the stitching on the straps zipper and everything else
is awesome. This scabbard is not a padded protected unit it is designed as far as I am concerned to go over a rifle And keep it bone dry during bad weather. If you drop your gun you shouldn’t have one but this dry bag will keep your rifle shotgun or anything else you put in it dry if you don’t have one and you didn’t catch the sale you missed out. !!!!

these work perfectly permanently mounted to my F1 Mainframe Packs...
keep weapons or gear dry & lay flat when not needed, simple & effective!

Purchased this to use with the F1 frame and Vapor 5000 bag on an Alaska caribou hunt. It was a little difficult to mount it between the frame and bag as the attachment points are not great. It did protect my rifle well in the rain though. Once I was able to get it mounted securely, it worked as intended.

Great addition to add to main frame... water proof/dust proof ..and crown shield awesome also !

Got this to rework into a drag bag, but this would be an extremely useful piece of gear in it's original form. Plenty of material to form an adequate seal, even with a large rifle and optic. Impressed as always.

Will keep rifle dry and is light weight

The dry bag is well made and works great as a dry bag. It does not attach well to the F1 mainframe without some kind of modification (I used some quick attach molle strips). But because the bag has no padding it does not hold its shape, as soon as you put anything else on the pack it compresses the bag and hold the rifle in place making it very difficult to deploy the rifle while weairing the pack; and even harder to put back after you take it out an th bag compresses farther.
