The Vapor 5000™ is our ultralight series pack with a capacity of 5000 cubic inches. Designed specifically around the F1 Mainframe™ (F1 Mainframe not included), the Vapor Series is our most versatile and lightweight pack system.

External features include extended-depth stretch pockets to retain drink bottles, spotting scopes, tripods, etc. The center front panel utilizes the same 140D two-way stretch material to create a zippered pocket for items requiring quick access. Camouflage options use 450D Aramid reinforced ripstop while solid colorways have 500D Nylon ripstop construction. Removable Duraflex HD 25mm buckles allow you to expand the pack from the frame and create a channel to carry meat bags or heavy loads close to body and center of gravity.

Great pack though needs a way to suspend a bladder from the middle. Only has side hooks. Because of water weight distribution this was very disappointing. Otherwise it’s a very nice pack.

I used this pack in combination with the F1 for elk hunting recently. The size is adequate for day hunting and could be used for spiking out for a couple nights if you lash items under it, between it and the frame, and on the sides. Top notch quality as usual for Eberlestock. Easy spotting scope and bipod stashing in the side pockets. The zippered pouch is great for quick access items like tp and headlamp. I thought the top mount zippers to the main pouch might slip down but the cross strap keeps them in place. It is convenient to get to clothing as temps change. The internal pockets are nice for organizing. I clipped a small carabiner inside to hang my water bladder from. It even kept my gear dry in light rain. Great product!

I took the vapor 5000 on an elk hunt last week and it was great. It’s light weight and carried everything I needed with room to spare. All around great pack.

Vapor 5000 pack

So far, I'm loving it! Two pockets store so much that I have alot of usable space even after packing for a 3 day hunt. Only downside is needing smaller bags or ways to organize small gear within the main pouch.

Perfect fit and balance with my F1 Mainframe

My Vapor 5000 attaches perfectly to my Eberlestock F1 Mainframe. Balance is essential while walking up and down mountain ravines and the fit and finish with the Vapor 5000 and F1 provides perfect balance.
