This single sleeping bag is warmer than the heavy issued bag I have in the army. Pair this with the heavy bag from eberlestock and a bivy, and you'd be comfortable in any climate
I bought reveille and the ultra light and I have all the Alaska seasons covered.great sleeping systems made to last you will never have zipper problems with these bags. Buy them you will not be sorry.
I’m going to give it another shot but my initial impressions weren’t great. I’ve only used it once but I got a little cold at about 25 degrees. I’m taking it out again next week so I may have a better impression after that
Great set for cold weather. Comfortable and warm.
This bad is awesome. I wish you guys would carry or rebrand the other parts of the Carinthia systems. I have the Defense one (lighter version of this one) and I am about to order a Carinthia Bivy from overseas. It is more expensive with shipping and VAT to order from overseas.
Good product from a reputable manufacturer.
Reveille Sleeping Bag
This is the "Defence 4" made by Carinthia in Austria...
A well known bag and it is used by lots of Forces in Europe -
check it out on youtube...
I used both bags down to 16 F in a tent 5 days in November and down to the mid 20's for 3 days this February without a tent. The bags worked great together. I slept in my thermals without socks and the bag combo kept my feet warm, I was not expecting that. If you want to keep some items you don't want to expose to those low temeratures you may need the longer bag as it is a snug fit with the regular size. I usually hike with the Ultra Light bag; however, I just had to get out during this pademic and both bags work great down to 16 F in my experience.
Extremely well made product.
