Technical, versatile, lightweight, and built to last.  The Afterburner pant brings the Eberlestock approach to a great pair of hunting pants.  Made of 4-way stretch polyester, Afterburners provide a close riding, athletic fit with a cut that gives unrestrained freedom of movement.

Afterburners feature a gusseted crotch, motion-biased knee construction, and a tapered cuff to keep snow, dirt, rocks, and other debris out of your boots.  The cuff is flanked with skid-plates for robust durability.  Ergonomically designed pockets keep items from falling out while remaining comfortable. Dual cargo pockets ride the right thigh.  Speed vents with bug screens zip upward along your hamstrings to provide active ventilation as you climb.  These pants are designed to provide year-round performance.  In the spring and summer months, use the Speed Vents to keep your temperatures in balance for all-day hunting.  If you get wet from wading or downpours, the material dries very quickly.  And as the temperature drops in the fall and winter, add a baselayer of Eberlestock Airbase.  You'll be able to take this combo into virtually any conditions for an active, athletic hunt.

The Afterburner gives you an elegant, modern design that works above the timberline or on the streets.

Afterburner Pant

Love the material and the fit. Perfect fall pants for the hills. The only thing I would improve if possible would be a touch of water resistance.

Better than expected

I'm biased to kuiu attack pants. They have created imo the best pants in the market until I found these. Both are very similar in features. Afterburners have a larger leg vent, great designed storage pockets that settle phones and other needed items out of the legs way. The material is not as durable as the stacks but also much softer, breathable, lighter, and comfortable. All brands make materials like the afterburners so it's not apples to apples but I have been preferring these over my kuius, which isn't normal for me. The waist stretch is a nice surprise. I have been entangled into thick brush and thorns in the last few weeks multiple times and to my surprise these came out unscaved where my attacks, which thicker material, had multiple threads that needed trimming. Pockets are very comfortable and the boot protection is an added benefit. There is zero restriction when articulating. I wish their price was a little lower as it deters me from buying two pairs but wouldn't hesitate to buy it again if these are lost or stolen. I was surprisingly impressed with these pants and they will be used day one of this months elk hunt.

Afterburner pant review

I absolutely love everything about these pants. The fabric soft yet durable. The hip vents are great for keeping cool. I used mine while hiking 8 miles in the heat and stayed comfortable. The only thing I would like to see added is 2 belt loops on the back. Not just one. Even so I’m planning on buying another pair. The do fit true to size.

After burner

These pants are sweet! I’m a 30x32 in almost any pants, so I got the smalls and they fit almost perfect! 4 stars cause the waist is a little tight but not to bad to not want to wear them. I’ve hiked threw rivers in them and that handle water great

Look great in the woods or in town

These pants can do it all. They are great for hiking and hunting. The comfort and fit make them an easy choice to grab and go. The style and pockets make them functional even in a more urban setting. Love my afterburners!

Butter on my backside

The fit, finish and quality of these pants is on another level even compared to other top brands that are more expensive. I’ll be wearing these in the sierras this deer season as well as around town. Can’t wait to get another pair!

Sweet Threads Man!!

I picked up a pair of these bad boys as an afterthought and I am sure glad I did. They are comfortable and the craftsmanship is the consistency high quality that I appreciate from Eberlestock. I put them on initially to ride my Harley Road King to camp and I liked them so much I wore them for the majority of the weekend as I hit the spring fed mountain streams for native Pennsylvania brook and brown trout. I again wore them again on the ride home where I received a compliment on my Afterburner pants. I’m extremely satisfied so do yourself a favor and order a pair of these bad boys! They haven’t even made it out to the grouse woods yet but I am looking forward to wearing them this October.

Upland hunting go-to

I intend to use these during big game seasons as well, but I wanted to comment on how much I like them for upland bird use. I would not use them in really thick, sharp cover like cats claw or raspberry vines, but for the early season they are awesome! Dry quickly, breathe well, strong enough for all but the really nasty brush, and they are easy walking. They have weathered several scouting trips without visible wear. If they perform this well in green cattails and willows, I am confident they will handle big game hunts just fine. Great multi-use item.

Nice Pant

Haven’t run them through their paces yet but they seem like they’ll hold up. Only minor complaint is the fit is tight in the seat and thighs. If you have “hockey butt” they’re going to be snug.

My new go-to

The fit is great. They are super comfortable. My new favorite. All the features I wanted; reinforced ankle protection, hip vents, some water repellency.
