I recently ordered the Bando bag. Keep in mind this is a culmination of events. I’m turning 40 this year and I’m having to fully embrace dad life. With that said, as a responsible adult in charge of the protection/thwarting the lemming-like suicide attempts of my gang of small children, I needed and option to carry all my normal EDC junk, plus some extra medical, pacifiers and a flask to keep myself sane. I tried carrying everything in a backpack, but it’s too easy to set it down somewhere and have it outside my reach. I needed something I could comfortable keep on my body, even whilst chauffeuring these little terrorists from one mundane event to another. Enter the tactical Fanny pack. In a sea of tactical nonsense, the Bando bag stands alone as both highly functional, and minimally dorky. There no molle to attach Lord knows what to. There’s no Velcro for Sheepdog morale patches. It’s just pure function. Enough space for a full size glue gun to fix all the toys that are constantly being demolished. There are pouches and pockets for snacks, bandaids, and juice boxes. All the zipper pulls are designed for fast, one handed access. And it’s made by Eberlestock. So above average quality isn’t even a question. In closing, if you’re looking to stomp over to the neighbors grill in your white new balances and flex on him, you need a Bando bag.
