Works great to move a padded MultiPack pouch from the hip belt to a chest harness to add versatility. The strap is sewed directly to the mesh, so it pulls and puckers a bit with the weight of the chest pack. Doesn’t affect function though. The shoulder strap mesh is nice and thin so they can’t be felt underneath pack shoulder straps.
Straps around body need to be longer. 52 chest, 40 waist. Paired harness with Multipack, harness won’t fit over jacket, much less a coat.
Works fine with just a t-shirt. Comfortable and functional.
THe harness fits great, I received the chest pack for Christmas. I used it on a glassing trip and it was comfortable with no rubbing.
Used it on my bear hunt. No compaints
Works good paired up with the large padded accessories bag as a cheap chest rig for binos or whatever else.
Everything as expected in classic Eberlestock quality
This is a very well made product and will no doubt last many years. I’m very happy with my purchase and will look at purchasing larger packs on the future.
It's strong and comfortable. The material is thin and doesn't effect my scope eye relief.
The harness makes it very easy to keep things you are constantly using close at hand. With a little planning it can be adapted to attach to almost any pouch or pouch system. Even when a full ( heavy pouch ) is attached the mesh back panel and adjustable straps, keeps things comfortable
Only suggestion ..... use 25mm buckles and webbing not the 20mm buckles and webbing used now. The couple extra ounces really won’t matter but it will exponentially increase use with other accessory pouches
Didn’t quite match the buckles of my 5 year old A2MP pack. Had to modify the buckles with a dremel and getting some updated buckles. This is perfect if you have a newer model but always wanted a stand alone chest pack!
