Another Great Product

I was searching for a compact bag to use for travel. This one fit the bill and it is high quality like the rest of their products. I now own multiple bags and jackets.

Excellent Briefcase!

This briefcase is well appointed and holds all of my equipment and work papers neatly and efficiently. To be honest I’m pretty new to the EDC world and the central compartment is very easy to access and holds all contents in a stable and predictable position. Fits my needs perfectly!

Needs a better gun spot

This thing is great. But if you have a notebook and laptop in at the same time. It doesn't quite fit a full size duty gun very well. Fits a 365 pretty good with all my stuff in it. I recommend it. Great quality bag.

3.5 stars

Bag seems to be very well built and looks great. I got the blue and love the color. I really like the design. My last briefcase was way too big and bulky. However this bag is just a bit too small for what I carry. I carry a toughbook and notebook binder, which pretty much maxes out its space. Better suited for a Chromebook and legal pad. The fuller it is, the more difficult it is to get your weapon out. Not having the pistol compartment lined with molle or velcro or something was a big miss. It's not practical for me to use it on the basis of carrying a gun with it. I still body carry, but it's nice to have the option to throw it in the bag if needed.

Eberlestock Undercover Brief

I have had it for approximately two weeks now and am really enjoying the size. Not overly large so it makes me be much purposeful in what I am carrying in it but it is easy to carry and can be tucked out of the way quickly. Plenty of organization within the two main compartments for much of my EDC tools as well as a small stash of reading material along with my laptop. I typically have two hardback books, a planner, a travel bible, and a Scoutmaster's Minute book and a laptop along with a magazine, along with some tools, and I still have some room to spare. The construction is strong and I am looking forward to this bag lasting a while. A top notch build Eberlestock! Now I just have to pick up a Switchblade pack.

Could’ve Been Great

This was a great idea for a CCW bag. I really had high hopes for it but there were certainly areas where they cheaped out on the design. I really love the size and minimalist aspect of the bag for work purposes but there are many flaws with this bag.
1. The handle. This is by far the flimsiest handle I’ve seen on any messenger bag. It’s as if they didn’t even try to come up with a design. It’s just a piece of strap folded and stitched. This needs to have a PROPER rugged handle.
2. Rigidity. This bag has zero structure. As soon as you pick it up with contents inside, it deforms folds in on itself
3. The magnets on the CCW pocket are not very strong. They can easily come open especially after grabbing the handle with contents inside. It needs stronger neodymium magnets.
4. The padding is laughable. There absolutely zero padding in this thing and my lap top doesn’t feel very secure.
5. At the price point, it should have a waterproof liner.
6. The pocket organizations make no sense and lack usability. This could be improved.
7. Front two pockets are essentially useless
8. The pen holders are not even long enough for the pen clip to slide onto the fabric. This is not that hard to design.

I bought this to replace my waterproof motorcycle messenger bag which was getting a bit cumbersome. I will continue to use it but it is certainly not as robust as my motorcycle messenger bag from Kriega. At the end of the day, it’s mediocre at best but I’ll still continue to use it purely for the hidden CCW pocket.

Over the covers or under the covers...

... it doesn't matter, but this Undercover bag is just great. It's perfect for the small carry items for EDC, whether that's to and from the office, or doing the daily grind (doing coffee at your favorite local brewery with your 15" laptop, or simply wanting to conceal that certain coveted item that we all cherish, if you get the hint.) If you want to keep yourself really warm at night, sleep tight by taking your Undercover under the covers and sleep a bit more soundly!
Grover sends!
