First of all, the pants are very comfortable and have a good design. However quality vise I’m in doubt. First of all it came with the button almost falling of. After contacting customer service we agreed on them sending a t-shirt as a compensation and me sewing the button back on (Living oversees. Btw; The t-shirt never came, not after giving them a friendly reminder). After just one season of use, the fabric have gotten white “tread dots” and the surface seems really worn. I’m concerned for how the collie pattern and fabric will wear for several more years. I’m also not impressed with the legs/boot area not having any kind of tightening mechanism. Fairies are a must! Over all they are “ok”, but it’s impossible to give more than three stars when they are lacking some quality vise.
Overall these pants are great, they’re incredibly comfortable. The only suggestions I have for future design is to reenforce the knees and maybe behind. It’d also be nice to be able to choose the length. I’m shorter and usually wear 32 x 30 length. The medium pair I bought is a nice fit around waist and hips, just a tad bit too long. I’d love to order these in mountain to match my bandit pack.
Full function, very lightweight and breathable . Stretchable multi fabric design is not found anywhere else . Worth the price
The pattern (Syke) should be good for the area I hunt. Pants feel light which is good for the heat and have base layer for mornings. Won’t be able to use them till October but I don’t think I’ll be disappointed.
I purchased basically the whole set of Eberlestock camo kit all but a jacket which I will be shortly. I also own a V69 Destroyer. I have been nothing but impressed with Eberlestocks quality craftsmanship. With that being said on my first hunt using the camo I snagged the pants multiple times on brush that wasn't even that thick. I also managed to rip a half dollar sized hole in the knee while climbing up a stand. The pants definitely aren't made to bust through brush but I would expect them to be a little more resilient than what I have experienced. I love the base layer system and have also considered getting another pair of pants to wear while hiking the Appalachian Trail. All in all I'm satisfied with the product I just think the pants could have be a bit better. They are the most expensive pair I have and I already have a hole in them.:)
