I purchased basically the whole set of Eberlestock camo kit all but a jacket which I will be shortly. I also own a V69 Destroyer. I have been nothing but impressed with Eberlestocks quality craftsmanship. With that being said on my first hunt using the camo I snagged the pants multiple times on brush that wasn't even that thick. I also managed to rip a half dollar sized hole in the knee while climbing up a stand. The pants definitely aren't made to bust through brush but I would expect them to be a little more resilient than what I have experienced. I love the base layer system and have also considered getting another pair of pants to wear while hiking the Appalachian Trail. All in all I'm satisfied with the product I just think the pants could have be a bit better. They are the most expensive pair I have and I already have a hole in them.:)
Awesome pant would buy again
I have been using several pairs of these and live the fit and comfort. The zippered pockets keep all of my items very secure.
very nice and comfortable, smooth feeling and flexibility, and venting. just wish the inseam was available on order, (short legs)
All these pants need are reinforcement patches in knees and butt.
These pants worked great for 8 days on a elk hunt in the Frank Church Wilderness of Idaho. By then end of the hunt the knees are getting thin and I punched a hole in the outer small pocket on the leg.
The vent zips were fantastic during steep accents while packing boned out quarters. I will buy another set of these when my current ones fail.
I had no problems with the size of the zippers or the fit of the pantcuffs.
