I tried the Owyhee this past weekend as a base layer under a goretex shell while hunting in my duck pit. The shirt gives full range of motion and was very comfortable underneath the shell. After hunting, I kept the shirt on as my primary shirt for the afternoon in camp, right up until the evening got cold again. The fabric used on these shirts is COMFORTABLE! Very smooth, very quiet, this is a really nice shirt for serious hunting, lounging around or anything in between. Also, the use of button snaps versus buttons is a stroke of genius.
I purchased one shirt in both Mirage and Skye. Both have their uses depending on hunting locales, but I also love the Skye for leisure wear. I’ll likely purchase another one of these just for that purpose.
Good shirt. Fits a little snug but great material and will be good for warm days afield
Highly recommend this one… fits really well and moves great with the body. Love this shirt
I have no idea what this material is, but I love it. Lightweight and breathes pretty well. It feels thin, but I have been through northern MN grouse thickets in it for a month now and thorns just don’t get through it. Easy to get the gun up and shoot. Holding up really well, so hopefully it continues. I got one size up per the notes on the product, but in hindsight I would not have. I am a thinner guy, so it may be just if you are on the borderline of normal sizes. If this is what eberlestock is going to bring to upland, please keep it coming.
Exactly what I needed. Great fit and comfortable.
Great shirt !
I took my Eberlestock Owyhee shirt and afterburner pants on a 6+ mile hike at Yosemite. I was carrying my 10 month old which caused me to sweat due to it being all inclined the first 3 miles. I took a small break and within the break my shirt dried quick. Pants are very breathable specially when you unzip the side zippers. Also had a small little issue with my pants and customer service quickly sent me a new pair while I sent the other pair back. Highly recommend all the gear and the customer service is the cherry on top.
The material is a little odd and the fit is a little tight actress the chest. I did go one size up. It is however a well made shirt and I like it. George
Just fits great, true sized, like the back ventilation
Great camo pattern, the fabric is great keeps you cool.
