The A1CL Scout Bino Pack is an ultra light system binocular harness and carrier system designed with a minimalist mindset. Like the Nosegunner, the Scout features a magnetic main compartment, making it quiet and simple to access your binos.

The 3D mesh harness is very comfortable and ultra-breathable and can be worn under a pack -- or removed if you're carrying the Scout with our APSK kit.  The back panel on this harness has a MOLLE/PALS webbing matrix, allowing you to attach accessories such as an A3SB Saddle Bag for hydration, or one of our scabbards. This system is simple and easy to use, that's not to say that this pouch doesn't have a surprise up its sleeve. Look to the back side of the Scout and you'll see an integrated sleeve for use as a pistol holster or a range finder holder.

  • 3D mesh harness
  • MOLLE compatible shoulder harness
  • Pistol/rangefinder holster
  • Magnetic main compartment
  • Front zipper tuck pocket for those small essential items
  • Compatible with our APSK chest mount kit
  • Secure integrated bino tether

Large bino pack

Great pack. It works as advertised and pairs well with the gunslinger two pack. I bought the large because the 10x42 Steiner binos are a bit on the bulky side. They fit perfectly with a little extra room in the main compartment.

Large Scout Bino too small for my Steiner 10x42

Bought the large Scout Bino for my Steiner Predator 10x42. It barely fits. Pops open intermittently. No clear way to attach the bino's to the pack as with other brands. No room for anything else (wind powder, range finder etc.) except maybe a match.

I love Eberlestock gear and have at least 12 pieces. But this one's a dud. Buy the Nosegunner, you'll be much happier.

Thank you for bringing this up. The Scout Bino Pack comes with a small elastic cord with a strap on the end which you can use to loop through the side loops/holes on your binoculars. If you would like, you can also use small zip ties for attaching the bungee cord from your bino harnesses to your binoculars, but with the small strap included you shouldn't need anything else. Usually we recommend bumping over to the Nosegunners for any binoculars larger than 12x52's. I own Leupold 12x52's and they fit just right. Not much room to wobble. However every binocular brand is different. Some of the older Steiner models were very wide in comparison to other brands so that could be why yours are not fitting well. In terms of the overall capabilities of the pack, this one is more for going light. If you are going for something with more pockets and accessories the Nosegunner would be the better choice. Thank you for bringing some light to this. Hopefully this response was helpful.

I have used Eberlestock Back packs Bino pack on Elk Moose prong horn deer and bear hunt none better. pack frames are the best I have ever used .

Bino pack

Good pack and made very well like all your products we’ve purchased from Eberlestock. I stop short of 5 stars though because of the lack of adjustment. I bought it for my wife and when it arrived she put it on and ask me to help adjust them sense they where hanging way down. To are surprise they where all ready as Tighta as they would go. She did use for a week in the mountains and loved them but still wish we could make them smaller

Perfect binocase

The scout largepack was exactly what I was looking for in a bino pack. It easily holds the 10x42 Binos the zippered pocket keeps mouth calls easily accessible the Molle strap allows for easy and secure connection of a rangefinder pack and the holster on the back is the best thing I've found for keeping a pistol easily in reach and securely out of the way of the bow rifle and shotgun. When used with the chest mount kit this ample pack creates a shelf on the chest to rest either a firearm or bow on taking the weight off the arms. I've been using this setup for the last three seasons and like its little more every time I use it. The only issue I've found is the stock harness. The front straps were too long for my torso and I could never get it adjusted just right but the chest mount kit solved that issue. .
