So far it seems to be good quality. Haven’t got to use it yet. Would have liked to see a hook in the center of the pack to hang the hydration system on verses the side pockets. So when it’s filled with water you don’t feel the weight pulling to one side or the other. But maybe with a spotting scope on the other side it will counter balance the weight. Looking forward to getting to use it this fall in Wyoming on an antelope hunt.
I don’t have anything to compare to, but the pack seems about as good as you could make something. I’m pumped for it. I took it Turkey hunting and fit my rain gear and two decoys plus other crap inside, strapped my chair and shooting stick to the top pouch and strapped a 3 person blind to the outside portion. It was a heavy SOB but the weight was distributed well and I didn’t feel like anything was even close to under stress of breaking. Get yo self one of these!
The quality of the pack is awesome.. but after receiving the pack I realized that the pack would not be efficient for a multi day bivy hunt and having to pack out meat.. the meat having to be on the outer side of the pack can lead to back injuries on a large game like elk is not ideal.. but a day pack or smaller meat haul is manageable.
Team Elk Pack is very nice quality is better than I thought it would be…Company was great to work with..
The best or nothing! Love Eberlestock
I purchased this pack primarily for search and rescue usage. Hopefully will have the chance to use it as a hunting pack next year; I believe the pack would also make a great doomsday pack (hopefully will never have to use it for that!) I took it out yesterday fully loaded with my SAR gear plus my .308 in the scabbard. It was very comfortable! Also, I never would have noticed but packs actually do make a lot of noise, and the fabric on this pack really is silent. I do wish it came with the rifle butt cover. That would be my only complaint. 10/10. Worth the money & worth supporting the foundation. Can’t wait to haul a quartered mule deer with it!
I decided to pick up this M5 RMEF Team Elk pack in Dry Earth color and absolutely love it. It's my third Eberlestock pack and I intend to buy many more products from them because they are the best on the market in my honest opinion! Customer service is also amazing and has worked with me on a few different times I've needed their assistance. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence between Eberlestock and others out there to go ahead and pull the trigger with Eberlestock, because you will not be disappointed!
I am impressed with the quality of the bag and the versatility of the storage compartments with in the bag. So far I am very happy with this purchase.
Great pack! I love it!
Great pack and has lots of storage. Haven’t taken it out hunting yet but seems great so far!!
