I paid over $35 for my vest to find it to be great material with a very average design. Then within a month it went on sale for <$15 so that really hurt my feelings.
Well made
This vest is light weight and breathable. It has a sturdy, durable build a nice fit, and functions very well. I have a long lanky thin build, I ware a large in coat size. The medium fit just right over the top of my mid layer and my outer shell.
Awesome vest. Light weight and doesn't get in the way like a lot of hunting vests I've seen.
First impressions of the vest were very good, it fits well and is nice and light, and the adjustment on the side works fairly well too. Mine came with the male and female ends of the zipper being on the opposite side which took a little getting used to. After a few weeks of hunting with it, I'm still impressed with it and I can report that blood doesn't stain it too badly which is a plus. The pocket placement is great for hunting out of a saddle and the angle of the pockets is actually pretty handy. Good zippers but they're very loud which is a con. Another potential con is that I noticed a few fibers from the stitching on the vest were starting to fuzz out by the end of the few weeks... that's not a huge deal because it doesn't take away from the integrity of the vest. The material of the vest is nice and quiet, perfect for midwest whitetail woods. The vest runs small I would size it up. I normally wear L in shirts and sweatshirts, and XL in jackets so I ordered an XL vest and it was more fitted with just a t-shirt on than I was expecting but I fit my layers underneath it just fine.
I bought their orange vest before an elk hunt and the zipper teeth broke on day 2 tendering the vest useless at staying zipped. I’ve put in a warranty claim so we will see how this company responds.
Another great product from Eberlestock!
Fits great! I would prefer blaze orange camo!!!!
I like the angled zipper pockets, great material. Seems like it would be pretty silent
