The Vapor 5000 is the most versatile of 3 size options of the Eberlestock Ultralight Vapor Series. The V50 is a F1 Mainframe or M1 Carrier frame-compatible, minimalist, top or front-load, ultralight pack. Weighing in at just 2 lbs. with 5000 c.i. of capacity, the V50 will take you deep into the backcountry without weighing you down.

All members of the Vapor Series must be paired with one of the Eberlestock frame options and will do so using ultra-durable zippers. The Vapor series also features 3 buckle sets on either side of the pack, allowing the pack to extend from and buckle to the F1 Mainframe, utilizing the Vapor itself to compress and securely haul game or additional gear.

External features include extended-depth stretchable pockets to retain drink bottles, spotting scopes, trip-pods, etc. The center front panel utilizes the same stretchable material to create a zippered pocket for items requiring frequent access. The V50 also features a roll-top, allowing for compact or extended use, lending to it's versatility as either a day or extended hunt pack.

Internal features maintain the Vapor Series' simplicity, with an elastic retained side wall pocket on either side of the pack, dual hydration bladder hangers, and a hydration hose port. The Vapor also comes neatly packaged in a mesh zipper pocket which can be used for gear organization inside of the Vapor after purchase.

Vapor 5K

I previously had purchased a vapor 7500 and also have an F7 kite. Both i run on the main frame. I personally like to be able to have a single pack that i can use for packing in for 5-7 day hunts and also be able to utilize as a day pack once i drop gear and set up camp. The 7500 was too large for a day pack and the kite was too small. This vape 5k is perfect. It can compress down nicely for a day pack and easily expands to put gear in it for a 5-7 day while utilizing wither the dry bag or spike duffle on the main frame. Great pack and extremely light. I do suggest ordering additional 25MM extension straps if you plan on loading it up or using a secondary system behind it with the main frame. I also suggest taking the female buckles off the actual pack and attaching them to the main frame so the side buckles can attach directly to the frame while still being able to use the 25mm compression straps. Great bag and system!!

2500 Vapor

Very well built and light weight. I think it will make a great day pack. I do feel it is a little small for much more than a night maybe two if you go ultra light gear. Will be purchasing the 5000 pack for longer stretches.

Great addition

I think this pack is just another example of eberlestock constantly trying to make the ideal product better. With 6 buckles you can transform your pack into a 5000++ pack. It's so ridiculously easy. You can use the already provided removable buckles to haul your pack and meat without any effort or needing to put the meat in your pack. Buying accessories for the F1 is filling a void you didn't know was needed. Similar to my wife in target only she really doesn't need what she wanted like I needed this. While my vapor is really new, I have rucked with it a few times and have it set for Spike camp ready and my batwings ready for a day trip. 6 buckles 20 seconds later and I'm ready to go on a 6 night excursion while others haven't unloaded their bags. It's an ideal option. Might be nitpicky but I think a 3500 would be a great option to consider in the future. I'm very pleased with it and will be using it hard this month out west.

Versatile

Just completed a trip into the backcountry with the vapor 7500 paired with the F1 mainframe. The pack preformed excellent. Lots of room with quick and easy access to your optics and tripod. Condenses down easy for a day pack when your not fully loaded.

Vapor 5000 with F1 frame

Really nice bag and very pleased. Easily fit all my gear and food on a five day solo backcountry elk hunt. After packing in, unloaded the bag at camp and carried the F1 frame with my day pack. Went in light and unfortunately came out lighter but bag and frame held up great. Can’t wait for round two in a few days
