How To Properly Fit And Adjust Your Pack
I'm new to western hunting and haven't taken this pack out yet so hard to review but it feels great on my back at home
Had this pack for about 3 years now, sturdy and well built. Definitely on the heavier side of comparable ci packs. To this date I have packed out 4 elk with this pack, load max around 100lbs. At first I though it was just something you have to get used to, the pressure on your shoulders and tension. But then I tried another pack (won’t name drop) but fit way better and handled weight better. I’m 6’1”, 205, normal build and this frame really doesn’t fit my back, it’s too short and puts an immense amount of pressure on my traps. I tried readjusting it multiple times and it always feels the same. If it fit my right it would be a great pack.
I archery hunted with this pack for 10 days and I really liked it. Could strap my bow into the pack. It has a solid pack frame attached that I really liked compared to the original dragon fly. The top compartment is so easy to store simple quick things. The zippers are great. I wore the pack every day and it was awesome. Very happy with it.
Love this pack! Although about 5lbs heavier that my lightweight pack, this thing wears extremely comfortable with no hot spots. The hearty construction helps the load stay balanced on my back. Water bladder pocket is a bit small for the 3 liter bladder when the pack is loaded down but the 2 liter fits fine. Highly recommend this pack!
