There are definitely some things that I like about this bag. There's also a few things I would change and a few things that are missing.
I love the hard bottom. Hands down the best feature. Having to undo the front straps to be able to get into the main compartment is not ideal. If they attached below the main zipper that would be very helpful. With all of the Molle they should sell accessories specifically for the bag. Not having a velcro patch for morale badges or a flag patch was a miss. Also, no dedicated pouches for the three things we all carry to the range. Magazines, ear and eye protection. Yes there is plenty of room to find a place for them and the movable compartments are a nice feature.

Finally . I have been waiting months the get one of these bags. Love it

The "Bang-Bang" bag is amazing. Extremely adaptable to what you believe is the best Range "loadout". The carry handle on top is very comfortable, but the added shoulder strap really can assist in carrying the load. I highly recommend this bag.

Used the bang bang bag now for two NRL matches and love it. Holds what I need it to and items easy to find when I’m looking for them.

I purchase unseen and was a bit worried in what would arrive. I’m very happy with the quality. Good quality build with sturdy zippers. Check the dimensions and make sure it meets your needs and if you are on the fence make the leap.

This bad is awesome as is every bag I’ve bought from Eberlestock. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a durable range bag.

This bag was about the same dimensions as my Hazard 4 backpack, which I was using as a range bag, but the bang bang holds significantly more, and keeps it much more organised!

A big win is that the main compartment can easily hold a slab of shotgun ammo on it's side, this will only take up half the compartment, so still plenty of space for other items. Some people complain about the padding on the strap, but I think it's great. Overall I'm ultra happy with it, and consider it the best range bag I have used (and I've used a LOT).

The only negatives I have are that I wish the zipper on the front was just a few cm wider, so that I can slide an A4 sheet in there (match book, etc), as it stands currently, you have to fold it in half if you want to use this pocket for this purpose.

I am also working on finding a new water bottle, as my 1.2L insulated camelbak chute is just a little bit too tall to easily stand in the main compartment, this isn't a big deal.

Lastly, I wish it had molle on top, and molle on the underside of the lid, as this would be more useful than a big mesh pocket. This would also give me the ability to more easily attach my competition belt to the top of the range bag, I am still working on a great solution for how to attach this to the bag...

These issues are minor, and I would still buy it again in a heartbeat!

This is my first actual “Range bag” but from someone who has owned dozens of bags from military packs, to personal duffels, to regular travel bags, this bag was s definitely top tier in regards to quality of construction and design. Plenty more of room for everything plus lunch. Only reason it didn’t get five stars is because it didn’t come with the foam insert for the bottom compartment. Love it so far.

I bought this bag specifically for long range shooting. I placed my MTM range flags in the bottom zip open tray storage. Range finding binos goes in one of the end zip out openings. Hunting vortex razor spotting scope fits on the other end. Love the individual cubbies for things like bipod, ammo, ear pro, etc. I also like the ability to carry two separate tripods on the sides using the heavy duty buckles. Exactly what I had been looking for.
