I’m a very large guy but the adjustments of the pack make it work for me!! Try one today!!!
Just what I was looking for. Love the pockets, organization, storage, and yes the rifle scabbard...fits my Marlin 1895GBL perfectly. First time with the pack took an 8-pt 190lb whitetail. Dragging with my hands free and my big loop 45-70 completely tucked in the scabbard made a huge difference.
I got the M5 pack and used it on a week long hunt in the Idaho backcountry. It performed awesome, and I am very happy with it. The adjustable outside straps were perfect for anything too big to fit in the main compartment. However, I got the pack with the brown suede. It looks really nice, but the second you put it down it picks up large amounts of dried grass, leaves, and other debris, and it takes a lot of effort to get cleaned off. I would have reconsidered the material knowing it picked up grass and leaves that bad, but otherwise it's a good pack.
Big Enough for a Full day in the Mountains.
Fit's very well.
Very Comfortable pack.
I really enjoyed using this pack during a recent elk trip. The design and functionality is well thought out and was definitely adequate to carry my gear. My only two comments are 1. This pack is heavy. Make sure a metal frame is absolutely required for your purposes 2. When the material of this pack gets cold in below-freezing conditions it can often be noisy.
