Love all my EBERLESTOCK highly recommended
It works very well for day trips, haven't tried it yet on multi day trips but it seems to have plenty of room.
As an avid hunter and backpacker and at 63 years old, I'm always in search for lighter stronger equipment. After reading many reviews between backpackers and hard core hunters (funny how the last 10years both are merging into one) I decided to purchase both F1 mainframe and vapor 5000 for my up coming season. To test this equipment, I recently finished a section hike of the Pacific Crest Trail in northern California. This hike took me to an average elevation of 7K and it snowed the entire 25 miles and four days. My mainframe and vapor bag was beyond outstanding .I was able to pack all my gear in it plus room to spare. I highly recommend this combination for all your outdoor needs. I can't wait for hunting season to arrive! Pedro H
Great pack for the f1 so much room
Got the V5000 to use on an M1. Selected this bag for a couple of reasons, chief among which are weight and access.
Secured to the M1 frame, the V5000 will hold it all. Clothing, food, and shelter for extended stays in the backcountry. The zippered access panel, as well as the roll top dry bag style top closure, means that it is quick and easy to get to your kit - without having a yard sale on the mountainside to get at the one thing that of course has found its way to the bottom of your ruck. The emod system is as good as it gets. And with this bag you can take it all. G
