The bag is nice. However the way they set it up is almost like they don't get input from customers or people that actually use the product. On the inside of the bag they have two pockets one on either side which is nice for smaller stuff, however they say you can put a water system in it, lol my 9 year daughter carries more water than that when we hike. I would prefer it have a additional pouch on the very back so my bag doesn't feel lopsided with my main weight on one side. My way around this is I use my gun pouch for my water. Now this will be a problem when I actually need to put my gun away to pack out. At which point I am sure I will just dump my water out and deal with it. Also the pockets have no way to close so if you set the bag down and it tips over guess what now everything in the pockets are now in the main compartment, once again stupid design. Overall I do like the size I have the bat wings as well but they just don't have enough room if I am on a long hike this is where this bag comes in.
Bought the 2500, to go with my f1. Used it a couple of time hiking and turkey hunting. Covered 5 to 7 miles and it is the lightest setup I’ve had on my back! Plenty of room to haul a bunch of stuff! Love it!
The Vapor 2500 is perfect for my F1. Just right for 1-day Indiana hunting. Great Utility for hunting gear and flexibility to fit over and through climber stand all carried by the F1. Looking forward to packing out more Indiana whitetails.
This is my 3rd eberlestock pack. Glad to see them going lighter, have always thought they were a tad on the heavy side. Works great on my f1 mainframe!! Excellent product! Way too go👍
This is my first pack. I am a first time elk hunter this fall. I will day hunt in Colorado. I was going to go with the elk pack, but I wanted to scale it down to minimize weight. I like the way it goes together. The folks at Eberlestock were very helpful in getting me set up. I’m 64 so I don’t have a lot of time for screw ups.
