This is a great pack because I can fit so much gear in there, but it isn't just a giant cavity; there are a bunch of pockets to keep things organized!
What a great pack great design and comfortable easy to adjust can’t wait to use it next hunting season
Outstanding Backpack, it fits perfectly and is very comfortable. This is my fifth Eberlestock Backpack, I have used them extensively for hunting all over the world, have left some of them with my guides as tips and this may be the best one yet. Van Bethancourt, Mesa, Arizona
I bought this pack in anticipation of a 3-day aoudad hunt in Palo Duro Canyon. I was looking for a light, rugged pack that didn't break the bank and allowed me to carry a water bladder instead of individual water bottles. The Eberlestock did not disappoint! We covered 25 miles in 3 days, in very rugged terrain, climbing up and down narrow canyons. Every component of the pack (straps, buckles, zippers, frame) held up well under abusive conditions and I loved the weight distribution. Thrilled with this purchase and looking forward to the next hunt out west!
I've been hiking with this pack since I got it and have loved every bit of it. Has a great design and the fit is very comfortable. I've been able to try on several other brands of packs and this is by far my favorite. There's so many accessories that you can get with this pack that it can fit every need of any type of outdoor activity. My only regret is that I haven't been able to go hunting with it yet but I know when I do it'll hold up just like the other Eberlestock products I've been around or have owned. Just an extremely quality product.
I’ve used Eberlestock bags for years both overseas and hunting In the States. The M5 RMEF bag in my opinion is what every other company should be trying to achieve in terms of a hunting pack. Lightweight frame pack but you can still live out of it if you have to. If you’re looking for a pack for hunting this is it. Spend the money and you’ll get what you pay for
I recently purchased the RMEF Team Elk M5 pack and to date, I am very glad I did. I ultimately went for the M5 and not competitors packs for several deciding factors. Eberlestock's M5 was the only pack I found which was thoughtfully designed to carry a rifle, a bow, and/or quarters of meat. The organizational pockets inside provide a secure space for everything I carry. The pack wears well and feel good even after miles hiked while weighted down. A bonus was the 10% donation to RMEF for purchasing the pack. The only draw backs I've experienced have been #1- the pack seems to tip over easily when placed on the ground. This gets a bit frustrating at times. #2- in cold conditions the internal cinch sack material gets crinkly and is a bit loud. #3- is the outside pouches are difficult to fill if the internal compartments are already maxed out. I found that filling all pockets first before filling the cinch sack with clothes seems to work best. So far so good and when any friend is in need of a new pack, I won't hesitate in pointing them towards an Eberlestock!
Great pack from a great company! My eberlestock bino pack will be a great addition to this pack. Keep up the great work and I look forward to my next purchase.
I am a 4’9” woman who is usually small for most things but I put this pack on and it fits perfect. Really adjustable that my 6’ husband can get it to fit him as well. Wanted to test how it pulls so I stuck my sons in there (one at a time of course) and it was unbelievably comfortable. No big pull on my shoulders, nor excessive pull on my back, was really evenly dispersed it is perfect!!! Definitely recommend
Awesome pack. Packed out my own Elk. Used to use a military style backboard. What a difference no strain on my back. Would highly recommend.
