This pack is an amazing product!
First team elk pack had lasted years but I broke the pack so needed another great packs
I have uses this pack for about everything I can think of using it amd it has done amazing even when the pack is full. I was still able to put my bow or my rifle on it with easy carry plus, it fits all my other accessioryies in it as well knives, axes... The fabric its self is also very durable amd very pleased with this pack
Best back pack hands down I use it for everything. If it ever wears out I’d buy another and another. Simply awesome
Overall I was happy with this pack. The quality is great and craftsmanship superb. Purchased last summer (July 2019) and used for entire Colorado elk season and for late season Montana elk hunting. I guide in SW Colorado so this pack was used everyday and for multiple packs. First off, i’m not a fan of the rifle scabbard. I do a lot of glassing so the moment I wanna sit or kneel down the pack has to come off cause the scabbard hits the ground. I like to use my pack to lean against and to do so I’d have to remove my rifle. It’s also kinda tough to remove the rifle in a hurry if you have it zipped up all the way. I do like how the rifle and optics is very well protected. Next is the weight of the pack. It’s 6 pounds 8 ounces empty. As a guide I have to carry a lot as it is so every pound matters, especially in a day pack. Lastly, when it comes the actually packing out animals. I packed out multiple elk heads and quarters with this pack, packing quarters is pretty simple and the pack serves it’s purpose. I ran into quiet a bit of difficulty packing larger heads out. No matter what I did the head wouldn’t stay on the pack. I packed a few smaller bulls on it and the pack did great. Overall I like the pack and will continue to use it, but not for elk hunts. I just need something that will be able to handle all elk out there.
