I like the pack. Quality / construction is top notch. Design needs a little work.

First, stand-alone it should have an admin pocket for organization similar to "those other guys'" Rush series. I carry a spare knife with a clip, flashlights with clips, pens, etc. Having little pockets / sleeves within a pocket would be a useful improvement.

Second, when I attach the Little Brother to my F1 Mainframe with the zippers, the fit is too tight, the Little Brother can't be used to carry anything, it has to be hauled empty. I can use the buckles to attach the Little Brother but then it flops around, moves, and makes noise like the Mystery Ranch Pop Up 28 that I was trying to replace with this pack.

So .. good, but you have a ways to go to reach perfection.

I chose this over a few others out there in its size range due to the abundance of webbing, relative lightness as advertised, and the modular possibilities, which should allow some adapting it for different tasks and trips. After having it for a few weeks and taking it on some trial runs, this will work out well as I had hoped. The fit is good, though not super adjustable (for reference I am 6'2" and 215lbs) and the pack is light for how durable it is. The comfort level is excellent over the moderate distances that I have covered so far - and I can tell that it will work just as well for the much longer ones I have coming up this summer. I currently run fairly light loads in it, not more than 35lbs, and the pack as is works great. I would definitely add one of the two frame options to it if I went any heavier, though the pack body itself would have no problem. All in all an excellent pack and a super value for the price.

Pros- Size is just right for what I need.
Zippers and Pulls are fantastic. The new design for the panel door is perfect.
The laser cut panel and Molle 10 seem to be strong enough to hold, so the weight saving is a great touch.
Cons- Should come with hip belt and frame. I mean really, just increase the price and include it. If it's a question of the modularity factor, just add an omit tab, or have a separate section for bag only/EMOD.
Water bottle pockets need a slot to route the compression straps underneath as an option.
And finally, why does the Switchblade have 9 ladders of adjustment and the Little brother have none? That's ridiculous. Thought about sending it back, but the good outweigh the bad, so I'm going to put it to the test. If it doesn't measure up, ill sell it and start over.

I like their packs I own 3 different ones. If your and an experienced backpacker you know framed packs make it a lot easier on your body try it you will love it. First, I own the F1 MAINFRAME is ideal for hunting, when you are deep in the wood and you need a way to haul your deer or other large animals out of the woods. Second is the WARHAMMER a great 3-day standalone pack with lots of storage that uses two large tubes(Bat wing). The third one I own is a LITTLE BROTHER also a 3-day pack. But the best thing is you can combine the Warhammer and the Little Brother packs to make an extremely large pack that you can haul huge loads of gear. If you saw a military pack hauling over 100 pounds this combination can do that (But I recommend you never carry suck weight unless you trained very hard and are in great shape). What I enjoy is the durability and ruggedness of these packs. They are ready to go when you are: Great for rucking for a day or a week, hunting in the wild, or if you’re a prepper that needs that alone time in the woods, or you’re a young mom needing to carry things for two kids and a baby going, visit grandma. I recommend you visit their site watch their very informative videos and see what will fit your needs. Please pack responsibly and clean up after yourselves on the trail. To be in shape physically (doctor approved) rucking is fun but can be taxing and requires great hydration.

Asked Eberlestock if I could put the Little Brother on the frame with Batwings and they said no. Turns out it fits the same as the Vapor does with compression straps. Also, the belt and shoulder harness can be removed from the frame and attached to the little brother. Carry a heavy load to camp, adjust to the little brother for a light hunt pack and you are set.

This is an outstanding pack. It's modular design allows for a lot of flexibility. Fit and capacity are excellent. Thank you for a quality product.

I am an eberlestock junkie at this point! I've got a number of their packs and am never surprised with their build quality and durability. The little brother is no exception! I purchased the little brother to combine with the warhammer pack and really like the way that the pack carries. It's balanced and very comfortable.

Seriously, best pack. Wish I had one of these in the Army, as modifying it for my specific use is a breeze. From simple hiking trips, to all day 3d archery tournaments, to saddle hunting whitetail. This pack has easily adapted and for well for each use.
