I purchased 2 batwings to use as a day pack. Looks great in the mainframe and even fits my 85mm angled vortex razor hd spotting scope. 5 stars if there was a strap to secure water bladder to the top. If folks that have used the batwings with a water bladder have not had any issues I'll happily update my review to a 5 star.
Purchased two of these with my F1 mainframe and they fit nicely on there and seem like they will be perfect to split open for meat hauling. The only thing is they really need something inside to hold a water bladder somehow. If it did I would have given 5 stars for sure
Great quality, the will hold up for years.
Love that it provides a place for my water bladder. Nice and compact. Works great with my wetbag attachment. Love it!
My husband is an avid hunter and was struggling to find a comfortable and versatile solution to packing out meat and camping for a few nights. He’s so eager for this hunting season to come now that he has this pack!
I got two batwings for my f1 frame instead of a pack. They zip to the frame, and to each other. It’s genius. I got them as I just have some day hunting trips planned, but man they can hold a lot. You could hunt two days easy with just the mainframe and two batwings.
I have two of these attached to the M1 mainframe. I was running the Kite attached to the M1 and liked it, but this set up is easier to adjust and has more dedicated storage than just a large pocket. Batwings are very easy to set up and versatile. Eberlestock delivers as again.
Batwing
More room and space capability than expected. Was able to use it some on my last trip and looking forward to many more!!!
I bought two of the batwing pouches. The design is good. The fabric, stitching and construction are great. I was confused why the zipper on the one side of one pouch had the hook to go into the loop at the top of the main frame, but the other pouch didn't. So, the zipper on the right side pouch stays in place, but the zipper on the left side pouch wanders down. I am not sure why they wouldn't be symmetrical or ship hooks loose, so they can be added as needed. A zip tie will do the trick. I know this sounds picky, but ya gotta earn those five stars. Seriously though, great pouches.
