I purchased the Cherry Bomb for two reasons. First, for work I use it on inspections. It carries everything I need securely while also giving me comfort for the miles I hike accomplishing my work. Second, I purchased for the weekends when I can use it for my EDC and essential items I have while out in the forest to be prepared.
No joke a legit pack! Carries extremely well and a great size. I do recommend!
Does not fit 10.5 AR pistol without my law tactical folding adapter. Fits well with LW folder but does it have enough room width wise with eotech (check sight height) and also 30rd pmag in pistol. Not a deal breaker but it’s not so snug after you remove mag to be able to pull in and out easy enough. On about week 2 of using hopefully bag softens up just a little so it packs out a little. Good bag that reads like a extended day pack/ minimalist overnight bag. Best one I’ve seen (that I know of)/ used. Built well and heavy duty hiking style belt can be removed and I have replace with amazon bought 2” nylon webbing and buckles to help look more like book bag and less like hiking pack if I have in the city.
While this bag is clearly a premium built product, it falls a bit short, design-wise. This bag really has a lot of potential to fill a multi faceted role as an EDC pack, as well as a Personal Defense / Go Bag. The Cherry Bomb's short comings lie in it's dimensional design features. The pack has many features like molle webbing panels, and compartments that cannot be easily used simultaneously. There's just not enough space. But with all if that aside, it's still a great bag. But
