As far as build quality goes, the bag is flawless and looks very nice. The “private” gun compartment was exactly as expected and my 14.5” AR with folding stock just squeezes in along with 2 30rd mags and some room to spare at the bottom of the bag. My only complaint is the “public” compartment is not nearly as big as I expected. The “laptop sleeve” will fit an iPhone 11, and possibly an iPad mini but I don’t know of a laptop on the market that is small enough to fit in there. If the public compartment held the width of the main compartment it would have been about perfect. Seeing as I intended to use this for travel that was a disappointing find and I may end up going a different route as a result. And fitting an AR and laptop in the gun compartment will work but is very tight and I’d be concerned about damage to the laptop long term. I wish they made this bag in a version about 4” wider and 3-4” deeper so it’d be useful for carrying more than just a gun.
Love the design of this bag! I wanted the smallest discreet bag for AR 10.5 w/suppressor and law tactical. My measurements were an inch off so I will be trading the cherry bomb for big brother secret weapon. Great customer service! My 6th Eberlestock product. Can't be beat.
I haven't used it much yet, but the initial fit and finish is what I expect from this company. It holds a folded 10.5 and can with a few other small things. You won't be able to stuff a coat in the bag or much else's but it does conceal well.
The bag works as it should, but I belive a 35 version of this product would be that real sweet spot. It has been used for vehicle operations and is effective. But with a MK18 it still needs a folder to some degree or another. I would also like to see a easy to use slack retention on all locations of pull tabs, that could be adjusted with gloves so the end user could store away extra length of adjustment. There are alot of other things I would add to the bag for the end user, but it still requires additional testing.
The best constructed bag for urban carry I've every had. It's worth the hefty price.
