The A1CL Scout Bino Pack is an ultra light system binocular harness and carrier system designed with a minimalist mindset. Like the Nosegunner, the Scout features a magnetic main compartment, making it quiet and simple to access your binos.
The 3D mesh harness is very comfortable and ultra-breathable and can be worn under a pack -- or removed if you're carrying the Scout with our APSK kit. The back panel on this harness has a MOLLE/PALS webbing matrix, allowing you to attach accessories such as an A3SB Saddle Bag for hydration, or one of our scabbards. This system is simple and easy to use, that's not to say that this pouch doesn't have a surprise up its sleeve.
Look to the back side of the Scout and you'll see an integrated sleeve for use as a pistol holster or a range finder holder.

Light and comfortable
Integrates perfectly with my M5 team elk pack using the optional chest attachment straps. This creates a perfect bino/pack option for my uses. Easy to attach and detach from pack when not needed. Added bonus is that the bino pack creates a shelf on the chest to rest your arms on when taking a breather. With the bino pack attached to the backpack it is super snug and super quiet without being too snug or stifling. The snug fit also prevents any bouncing or flopping, it just feels right on the pack and you forget it is even attached until needed. Extra space in the large pack allows me to carry my SIG kilo 1200 rangefinder without being over stuffed. Magnet closure is secure and I had no issues getting low to squeeze through brush. When not used on the M5 pack it holds my Binos in my truck in a nice portable package offering protection and easy access to my binos. Straps included are great and I can quickly switch from pack hunting to just using the straps with a few clicks of the buckles.
I took it out on a javelina hunt and loved the Bino Pack. I bought and used the harness adapter with the pack. I think I like this better, we'll see.
Ordered this item to make a shoulder harness for a single six under my hunting coat, perfect. Removed the bino pack and ran the rear straps to the front with one though a belt holster. Added a accessory strap from the rear to my belt to support a canteen. Replaces a US Army belt and harness I used previously. Added bonus I have a case to store my 7x35 binoculars. Doesn't fit my 90’s series rectangular Leica Range Finder in the rear compartment, but thats old stuff.
I have loved Eberlestock backpacks and will continue to use them because of how well they fit. But I struggled to get this bino pack to fit comfortably. Even for being 6'4", I felt that it sat too low and too loose on my chest (more at the top of my stomach). The shoulder straps were too long and allowed the pack to bounce off my chest while hiking even at its tightest. Good quality pack but the fit was less than ideal.
