Great pack!

This pack is the perfect size for the saddle hunter. The sticks and platform secure nicely and plenty of room for all my ropes and equipment inside. Love the zipper that allows me to reach the inner pocket without going from the top. Great job on designing this piece!!!

Great bag

It's been my go to bag now for several months hiking in Colorado. Perfect size for my needs.

It's a great mid sized pack

I have not used it for it's intended purpose yet as I plan on saddle hunting whitetails as it's main use. I have been able to take it out turkey hunting and pig hunting. As with any new pack it takes a little while to figure out the best way to pack it with your gear. I will say that the small internal frame has made it a breeze to walk into the woods with a blind, chair, and a BOG tripod on my back when hunting pigs at night. I expect it will be just as good at toting my sticks and platform into the woods this fall. I would suggest picking up some additional compression straps at the time of purchase.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Do NOT waste your money on anything else! This bag is perfect for day hikes and hunting/scouting. The quality is what sets it apart for others. Well thought out design. Easy access to stuff even at bottom of pack and with their (or other) accessories its easy to customize to your needs. Comfortable pack even with decent weight in it. Could not be happier that I picked it up, especially for the price!

I haven’t had the chance to use this yet but I expect nothing but quality from this company. That is why I chose it.

Awesome Pack

Needed a smaller daypack for a trip to Kauai and this pack was perfect. Got a lot of looks and comments at the airport to!

Far exceeded my expectations

I used this pack on a Norwegian Foot March and was blown away. I've done many rucks and usually always end up moving straps around, playing with tightness, etc, throughout the ruck to relive pain points in the shoulders, back, and traps. I put this pack on for the 18.6 miles and never had to touch it. Never had shoulder pain, back pain, or rubbing. Great pack.

Perfect pack

I was born and raised hunting mostly in Northeast Louisiana. I hunt almost exclusively on public land. I never really subscribed to remote camping. So the big frame packs were never really something I needed. I'd describe myself as minimalist when I comes to how I pack and hunt I hunt remotely in the Ouachita and Mississippi River bottoms. The renegade is perfect for me. The small frame pack gives me enough storage space to take in what I need for a 1-2 day overnight trip by land or piroughe. Additoinally, I do a lot of mobile saddle and hang on hunting. The renegade hauls any combination of gear my styles of hunting requires. I've only used this pack for scouting trips to date. But I look forward to packing into a few public lands in Missouri and Kentucky this summer and fall. My next pack from Eberlestock will be the F! mainframe with batwings to help me eliminate my need for a cart to get my game out of the woods. I can't wait to get the next set up. You guys sell the highest quality gear I've ever had experience with. I'd love to have a chance to be on your prostaff if you'd ever like to have someone in the south that hunts hard and long no matter the conditions. Mountainous terrain and cold-wet weather are brutal. Southern humidity, high temps, lots of bugs and snakes are tough too! You gear helps me get it done day in and day out!

I really like the pack and the way it feels loaded with my gear, I have not field tested it yet but I’m hoping to get out in May for an Arizona archery turkey 🦃 hunt and try it out !

Small changes would make this my ideal pack

I love everything about the bag other than the top pouch and the side straps.
If the top pouch had an organizer in it like some of the other packs Eberlestock makes it would be a gamechanger. If there were three straps on the side instead of two, it would help secure a load better since you could have one higher on the pack to help lock in whatever was being carried. Other than that I love it.
