I bought this as I ruck out and stay 5-7 nights. I shoot RPR .308 w/a scope that is huge. This system (as it's a customizable system) works fantastic to hold the weapon carrier fits right in the pack. On the trail with all your gear, to a light mission pack all carrying your weapon. Thank you for such a great system!
The skycrane is in my opinion one of the best backpack systems you can buy. Its built very well and it is very well thought out by, I'm assuming, people who actually use them. Either that or they listen and survey people, like soldiers or hi-country hunters who use gear like this very regularly. It is expensive but I have no regrets. Awesome backpack!
Great pack, with great construction. The internal saddle bags fit an ASIP perfectly and having an integrated day pack makes going from rucking to rocking a breeze, now I just have to figure out how to convince command to let me jump it.
The skycrane! Great quality and adaptability. Three packs in one, and with everything covered in molle, you can truly customize your gear placement. However With options come weight. The pack is heavy, I would not recommend this for the person who has to have the lightest gear, while out in the field. I would recommend this for the guy who knows what gear they need, exactly when they need it, Or for the camper/hunter who plans to have alot of gear to make a base camp and later wants to adventure with a smaller pack . You are tradeing weight for customization and adaptability. The pack was shipped promptly and apparently without defect. Everything appears to be well designed and of top quality! Thank you eberlestock for your products.
purchased zipon dry bag, works very well and color sync is alright. Pack is constructed very well with many load options.
