To me Dark Earth looks more like Faded-Leaf Green But the description of the colour aside the vest is bombproof: warm, lightweight, easily packable and size Large was just big enough to wear over a shirt (I’m 6’, 190lbs). If you’re a bigger build go for a Size larger. For such a lightweight vest it really has an excellent weight to warmth ratio.
I thought the vest was made of great quality but lacked flexibility and think a draw string would be better suited with a vest like that... just seemed rigid at the bottom and push the neck of the vest towards my face...
