Wore this a few times on cool mornings. Quiet material, awesome camo pattern, just the right amount of insulation for sitting in 40 to mid-50s. Only negative is the interior is white.
Thought I'd seen some good vests over the years. All pale in comparison to the Bennett vest's design execution, warmth, wind break, layering tech, and materials. Bought in gray, which is fine. Would have enjoyed an option in black. Would also have liked an option in tall, to cover the torso a little more. Am 6'3" 220, lean, required XL. Worked with Ebberlestock to exchange a Large for the XL. Great folks to work with. This firm wreaks of quality--may in fact be the best company across all its market sectors.
Light weight and the perfect layer for cool mornings or under the Trinity Peak Shell for cold/wet days.
I wear this thing all the time. One of my favorite vests.
Things have gotten colder in the Northwest. Bitterness in the wind not present years ago. Seems to get worse each year. Maybe older age.
I bought this vest to to help layering for body heat. It has worked out very well. The vest is made of quality materials and fits/wears snuggly. It has provided the extra body heat I was hoping it would.
I would highly recommend this vest. Besides, it looks good.
This vest is great. It's just enough when you need just a bit more for your core. Super fit, vquiet material and an amazing camp pattern (I bought the Doppel:Ganger Skye) It's a great cami for the mountain west.
Bennett Mountain Vest
I really like this jacket. I use in summer when hunting on stands. The weather is warm, but most of the time it's a little bit windy - which cools you down, if you're not protected.
Works also well as a base layer in bad conditions.
Very small and light, its always in my backpack.
Love everything about this vest! Comfortable and just the right amount of warmth and moves with you.
Very well made as is all Eberlestock products.
Good for cool to cold weather with layering.
