The pack has many short comings when it comes to compact storage especially hydration. The hydration sleeves are super tight and definitely not ideal for the (SOURCE) hydration bladder they recommend. The outer hydration pockets are deeper than needed. The inner hydration bladder pockets are even tighter your not getting the bladder in those pockets. Another thing I noticed was a lack of hose pass through from the outer hydration pockets. The main access top zipper flap is very tight as you unzip past the top of the frame. Another missing element are vertical mole points. The mole on the inside of the packs inner section aren't low enough I cant even secure my radio because the top flap wont zip up. I'm using this pack for work on the south west border and the overall feel on my back is good no complaints there. I just feel like the outer pocket comparability and hydration carry desire some serious redesign. If this was a pack specifically designed for hunting OK, but its a military geared design. TWO STAR REVIEW....your website wont let me give it less than 5 star....
Excellent pack! Outstanding quality and very comfortable.
This is my 2nd Eberlestock pack and again not remotely disappointed. I chose this pack as a dedicated long range precision rifle bag and it holds everything I need to spend a day out in the field to include: water bladder, support bags tripod and spotting scope. Easy access to the entire pack from a large zipper that runs the dimension of the pack. Love this pack!
I haven't field tested the jackhammer yet but it fits nicely and packs well. I dislike the shape of the frame but it does its job. The zippers and stitching is well made. I look forward to my next eberlestock pack.
