With Airbase’s big air pockets, you have nothing contacting the majority of your skin surface, while adjacent polypropylene wicks moisture, so you always feel dry and warm.
EARLY SEASON LAYERS:
Designed for a close-to-the-body feel with a four way stretch material that won’t hold you back.
With a water resistant, yet-extremely breathable membrane and 4-way stretch, mid weight layers provide excellent warmth-to-weight ratio to keep you comfortable without weighing you down.
Technical, versatile, lightweight, and built to last. Made of 4-way stretch polyester with a DWR finish, providing a close riding, athletic fit with a cut that gives unrestrained freedom of movement.
COLD WEATHER GEAR:
Featuring 80gm Primaloft insulation, packable into its inside-chest pocket, breathable, and touting a superior warmth-to-weight ratio, Eberlestock cold weather gear is built to perform.
Four-way stretch fabric with a 40K+ breathability rating and 20K+ waterproofing will keep you dry when it rains -- and will not cause it to rain condensation inside the jacket when you are climbing up a mountain.
Love the coat! It does run a bit small though
Recently received my Trinity Peak Weatherproof shell- blown away at quality build/ attention to details and over all ruggedness of the shell- way more durable fabric than what I was expecting. Can’t wait to put this jacket thru the paces on some upcoming hunts planned
Great rain gear, its the best jacket for bad weather conditions, top shipping 3 days to germany, thank you Eberlestock
Waiting for the right size to get to be but can’t wait.
Phenomenal product. Two caveats for fellow hunters.
1. Eberlestock admits to running small (it’s really that they’re true to size, and don’t do vanity sizing), and that one should size up from your norm. I’m usually square in the middle of large, but I’m on the edge with Eberlestock. This is one of the products that I have to get in XL.
2. It’s a wind/rain shell — not that useful if you’re in a blind and you get cold, but if you use this as part of a layering system of their other products, like a baselayer and a vest, it’s g*d d*mn*d f*ck*ng phenomenal.
Five stars, no question.
4.5 stars due to fit. It is minimalist and simple, yet well built. I wouldn't mind another interior pocket. I have not tested it in weather or for durability yet; but I have faith in Eberlestock as most all their gear is 5 star.
I'm 5 10 and 155 lbs. A Medium Bruneau hoodie fits me perfectly, maybe an inch shorter than I like. I purchased a Large Trinity Shell. The sizing is an athletic fit and does not account for layering large items under the shell. I imagine it would work well with the Bruneau hoody and the suggested vest, but the shoulders and armpits are way too tight if I put on a thick hooded sweatshirt under it. I was hoping to use this like a mountaineering shell over puffys and wool sweaters in really cold weather. It won't work for that due to the cut. It will be good for hiking and glassing along ridge tops in semi cold inclement weather though, as their videos show. Once again, I'm a small guy (Medium) and want to emphasize how athletically it is cut. It is cut perfect (and looks damn good) if I don't layer much, but I wish I got the XL for my intended purpose. I own 3 other Large shells (Burton, Mountain Hardware, and Patagonia) and can layer under them without issue.
The quality is top notch! Unfortunately, this jacket is cut for a 19 year old college student! Very slim fit! At 5' 10" and 215lbs, I couldn't get it over my shoulders. Had to return it.
I put this jacket through hell and back on a recent Kodiak blacktail hunt. It is extremely breathable while being very water and wind-resistant. I will be ordering another very soon. Check out the picture attached if you have any questions about the camo...
Great jacket. Very comfortable and lightweight. Looking forward to wearing it this fall for hunting.
By far the best fitting and thought out rain shell I've worn. Would buy again, hopefully won't have to though.
